The UniFi Switch Enterprise Campus 24 PoE is designed to meet the demands of high-density enterprise deployments, offering a robust switching foundation that delivers a non-blocking throughput of 230 Gbps, a switching capacity of 460 Gbps, and a forwarding rate of 342 million packets per second (Mpps). It supports up to 1,000 VLANs and provides a MAC address table capable of 128,000 entries, allowing extensive segmentation and device connectivity across the network. Equipped with Layer 3 routing, the switch supports advanced network management, including DHCP Server in local networks, DHCP Relay, Inter‑VLAN Routing, and Static Routing. The chassis measures 442.4 × 43.7 × 496 mm (1U rack-depth) and is built with SGCC steel enclosure, reflecting enterprise-class build quality. These performance metrics and robust architecture make the ECS-24-PoE ideal for campus backbone, aggregation layers and large wired access deployments where consistent throughput, segmentation and core switching features are essential.

PoE Performance

The ECS-24-PoE supports 24 ports of the highest Power-over-Ethernet class (PoE+++), with PoE-out capability up to 90 W per port, enabling connectivity and power delivery for high-consumption devices such as Wi-Fi 6/6E/7 access points, PTZ cameras and networked audio systems. The total PoE budget reaches 2,250 W in Shared Mode (200-240 V AC), with certified values of 1,850 W at 100-120 V AC Shared Mode, 1,050 W in Redundant Mode (200-240 V AC) and 850 W in Redundant Mode (100-120 V AC). Redundancy is addressed via dual hot-swappable AC/DC 600W power modules and four hot-swappable fan modules, designed to keep the system operational while maintenance is carried out. The device accepts universal 100-240 V AC input, and its hardware design aligns with full-depth 1U rack installations. Built with enterprise power delivery and maintenance in mind, the ECS-24-PoE offers dependable infrastructure readiness for large-scale PoE deployments.

Advanced Features

Beyond performance and power delivery, the ECS-24-PoE delivers a rich set of Layer 2 and Layer 3 management and control features. On the Layer 2 side, it includes LACP Port Aggregation, STP/RSTP, QoS (DSCP), Advanced IGMP Configuration (Querier, Fast Leave, Router Port), IGMP Snooping, 802.1X Control, MAC-based ACLs, Port Isolation, and Jumbo Frames, among others as specified. On the Layer 3 side, it supports DHCP Server, DHCP Relay, Inter-VLAN Routing and Static Routing within local networks. The unit features Etherlighting™ status indication, a 1.3″ touchscreen (LCM) display, and supports rack-four-post installations at depths of 650-1000 mm. Operating conditions are rated for –5 °C to 40 °C ambient temperature and 10-95% non-condensing humidity.
